About the Company
Prosights is a data transformation partner to the largest private equity-backed portfolio companies. We unify messy data after M&A, turn documents into clean structured data, replace spreadsheet workflows with real software, and keep data in sync across disparate systems. We embed engineers inside the company, ship a working prototype in 48 hours, and have production software live in about four weeks. More than 70% of the 10 largest PE firms have used ProSights.
What you would build
- Account development. Build focused plans across PE funds, operating partners, value-creation teams, and portfolio-company executives.
- Problem-led discovery. Identify the operational pain, data constraints, decision process, urgency, and measurable value behind a potential engagement.
- Commercial process. Own the path from first meeting through scoped prototype, proposal, security review, contracting, and close.
- Solution shaping. Partner with delivery leaders to define a first engagement that is narrow enough to prove quickly and important enough to expand.
- Expansion. Turn one successful workflow into additional use cases across the company and additional companies across the sponsor portfolio.
What the job is actually like
- Sell through informed conversations about the customer’s operation, not a generic product demonstration.
- Work closely with founders and senior technical leaders on discovery, scoping, and executive meetings.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline with clear next steps, decision criteria, risks, and account strategy.
- Spend time in person with funds and operators through meetings, site visits, dinners, and industry events.
- Stay involved after signature so the delivery team starts with the context and commitments required to succeed.
Who you are
- Proven enterprise seller. 5+ years selling complex software, data, AI, implementation, or transformation work to senior buyers.
- Strong discovery skills. You can move from a broad AI mandate to a specific workflow, buyer, budget, and reason to act.
- Comfortable with technical depth. You can discuss data quality, integrations, systems of record, security, and implementation without overclaiming.
- Executive presence. You are concise, prepared, commercially sharp, and credible with both PE sponsors and operating leaders.
- High agency. You create opportunities, run a rigorous process, travel when useful, and take ownership of the customer relationship.
About the interview
Three to four conversations with the founders and team, followed by a paid working session around a real account and customer scenario. We will look at how you research, discover, qualify, shape an engagement, and communicate a credible path to value.
